The cake is incredibly soft, moist, and rich, with that classic red velvet flavour done just right. The cream cheese frosting is smooth, balanced, and not overly sweet — exactly how I love it! What impressed me most is the consistent quality. Both orders were fresh, beautifully decorated, and delivered exactly on time. My family loved it just as much as I did, which is why I keep coming back. Highly recommend this bakery if you’re looking for a truly outstanding red velvet cake. The name might mislead one into believing it's a sweets only shop but step inside and you will be surrounded with an array of bakery food products. The owner is extremely kind and generous and greets every customer. New customers are offered their newest and best selling cookies to taste. One can't go wrong with any item in this shop. The blueberry cheesecake is a speciality. The almond and walnut chocolates and walnut fudge are among the most delectable. Do grab the best tasting samosas, basarak, patties and jalebi in all of Srinagar at this outlet. All in all, a great effort to bring the best sweets and bakery items under one roof. The shop is very well kept with a cosy dining area.

2 months agoI visited mithaiwala sweets and bakery shop recently and had a wonderful experience. The staff was welcoming and helped me choose the perfect cake. The shop was clean, well-organized, and had a wide variety of options. The cake I bought was fresh, soft, and beautifully decorated. It tasted amazing and was loved by everyone at home. I’ll definitely be visiting again for future occasions!

5 months ago⭐ 1 Star – Extremely Disappointed I had a terrible experience at The Mithaiwala Bakery. The pizza was of the worst quality I’ve ever had — completely stale, chewy, and tasteless. As for the French fries, they were clearly old and reheated, soggy and oily with no crispness at all. It felt like they were serving leftovers. Very unhygienic and unacceptable for a food place. Definitely not coming back and would not recommend it to anyone.
