Jakheni Park

Jakheni Park in Udhampur is a well-maintained and spacious place, making it perfect for families and children. The open lawns provide plenty of room for kids to play, while the walking paths and shaded seating areas make it a pleasant spot for adults to relax. Surrounded by greenery and fresh air, the park offers a peaceful environment away from the hustle of the town. It’s ideal for picnics, evening walks, or simply spending quality time with loved ones. Overall, a great spot for a refreshing family outing.

Entry fee is too much. It should be Rs 10/15. Park is not well maintained. Washroom is the worst with too much foul smell. Good parking space but there is no eating stall or eating pint outside the park so fees is not justifiable. Not a clean park. Area is massive but entry fee is not according to the maintenance. 2 stars for the view and parking.

It is a very beautiful and peaceful park near national highway. The place is neat and clean with free parking. You can spend hours here sitting with your family , friends and loved ones. Monkeys are the matter of concern here. Actually they keep disturbing you especially if you have some food items with you. Also they litter the place by emptying the dustbins kept in the park. Otherwise it is a very good place to spend some quality time.

So many couple(means pair of boy and girl not the married couple😌) will be here . Even a single boy like me also enjoyed there just by sitting there and watching natural scenery and enjoying sun bath there. 😊
