Mansar Lake is a picturesque, forest-fringed lake in Sambha district of Jammu and Kashmir, known for its natural beauty, religious significance, and recreational activities like boating and fishing. It is also designated as a Ramsar site, meaning it is a wetland of international importance. A key fact is its historical connection to the Mahabharata legend and the presence of several ancient temples on its shores, attracting both tourists and pilgrims.

It was very hot around 11am in July but the lake was nice. Lots of fishes and it's interesting to feed them and see 1000s of them jostling. There are huge turtles and several other uncaged animals.
