2 years agoManasbal is the deepest lake in Kashmir, located in the Safapora area of the Ganderbal district. A good place for birdwatching, this freshwater lake is rich in biodiversity. The large growth of lotus which blooms in July and August makes it look wonderful.

2 years agoA beautiful lake on the way from Srinagar to Sonmarg. We visited while coming back and i muat say it was worth a visit. The lake is known to be one of the deepest lake in India. It also has shikaras just like the Dal lake in Srinagar. There is ample sitting space in the park on the bank of the lake and one can enjoy the beautiful view under the sun. Overall a nice experience and recommended in case one has time. Happy travelling!!!!
