3 months agoOne of the most beautiful and adventurous spots in Kashmir. The trail takes you through lush meadows, pine forests, and streams, offering breathtaking views all along the way. The trek is moderately challenging but absolutely worth it once you reach the lake, with its crystal-clear turquoise water surrounded by majestic mountains. Best time to visit is summer when the weather is pleasant and the valley is full of wildflowers. A must-visit for nature lovers, trekkers, and photographers! 🌿🏔️✨

a month agoMy first trek to Tarsar was truly special. The views were stunning with calm valleys and clear blue lakes all around. Every day felt different full of beauty and small challenges that made it worth it. Camping by the lake under a sky full of stars was something I will never forget. The whole experience taught me patience teamwork and how amazing nature really is. 🌲🌲🌲

2 years agoTarsar lake camping site is a out of this world experience. I was there on full moon night. So whole camping site was completely lit up with a moon light. Few of my friends were there on no moon night. They could see milky way galaxy with naked eyes. People who love camping must go here atleast once.

2 years ago10 of us along with our Guide, Gauhar Wani and porters, reached here from Sekhwas amid hailstorm. Within minutes the whole valley was covered with small white ice. It was foggy and setting up of the tents was a huge task. Once the weather cleared out, we were greeted by the mesmerizing views of the pristine Tarsar lake. Throughout the day we saw the mount Kolahoi. At night we saw the majestic Milky way. It was clear and looked awesome. We also saw a flock of birds, probably Bar headed goose flying overhead. On the next day we saw the golden sunrise. The weather was wonderful. The whole day we spent beside the lake at our campsite, watching the meadows and mount Kolahoi. We ,along with the help of our porters made kichuri and mixed veg. It was one of the most scenic and tasty meal of our lives. It was a sunny and a wonderful day. The next day we continued our journey and crossed the Tarsar pass. Such a strenuous trek was worth it.

4 years agoTarsar Marsar trek last week. It's definitely one of the most beautiful treks in Kashmir Tall mountains, gushing stream, lovely grasslands and lakes etc. Sharing glimpses of this trek in Kashmir the “paradise on earth”.
