2 months agoA walk through the turtuk village by crossing the bridge and you will reach at this tourist spot. Entry fees is applicable and is quite high for all the spots. Cold storage and traditional artifacts are present here and is good to explore. We thought of exploring the Turtuk waterfall as well but it was a 2 hour trek and 2 hour back to Turtuk village hence you would require to stay in Turtuk for a day to explore the entire sightseeing of turtuk. Overall it was a amazing experience to visit this village as it was very beautiful and picturesque. Do buy some local stuffs from here as they are very authentic.

3 months agoA Hidden Gem of Heritage – Ghetil Museum Ghetil Museum is truly one of those rare places where time seems to pause and history quietly unfolds around you. The moment you step in, you are greeted with an atmosphere that beautifully blends cultural heritage, art, and storytelling. The museum is not only about displaying artifacts, but about preserving the legacy of traditions, craftsmanship, and local history in the most authentic way. What I loved most about this museum is the attention to detail – every section is thoughtfully curated, with clear explanations and stories that help you understand the significance of what you are seeing. From ancient tools and household items to cultural artworks, each piece feels like it carries a soul and tells you about the lives of the people who once used them. The staff is warm, knowledgeable, and more than happy to guide you. Their passion for history and heritage makes the experience even richer, as they often share anecdotes that aren’t written on the display boards. The museum is well-maintained, clean, and organized, making it easy to explore at your own pace. It doesn’t overwhelm you with too much information, but instead allows you to absorb history in a very personal and meaningful way. For photography lovers, the rustic interiors and beautifully displayed exhibits provide wonderful opportunities to capture the charm of heritage. For students, travelers, and families, it’s a perfect spot to learn while enjoying a peaceful and engaging experience. I would highly recommend keeping at least 1–2 hours aside to truly explore and appreciate everything Ghetil Museum offers. It is not just a museum visit, but a cultural journey that connects you with the roots of history. Point - If you are someone who enjoys history, culture, and storytelling, Ghetil Museum is an absolute must-visit. It deserves more recognition and is definitely worth a 5-star rating.
