Ah, Badamwari! It's an wonderful greenish park, paid park which is maintained by department of horticulture of J&K for 40 rupees per person. You've picked a gem in Srinagar. Imagine stepping into a watercolor painting – that's what this park feels like, especially when the almond blossoms are in full swing. It's a relatively compact space, but every corner seems to offer a postcard-worthy view. The vibrant greens of the well-maintained lawns contrast beautifully with the soft hues of the flowers, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere. As a traveler, you'll appreciate the tranquility here. It's a welcome escape from the bustling city, a place to simply wander along the pathways, breathe in the fresh air, and soak in the natural beauty. The gentle slopes and strategically placed benches invite you to pause and admire the surrounding Zabarwan mountains. While the almond blossoms are the star attraction in spring, the park retains its charm throughout the year. Even without the flowers, the lush greenery and the sense of peace make it a delightful spot for a leisurely stroll or a quiet moment of reflection. It's the kind of place that leaves you feeling refreshed and connected to nature – a little slice of paradise tucked away in Srinagar. Definitely worth a visit!

Badamwari Garden is an absolute gem in Srinagar, especially during the spring season. The garden bursts into a mesmerizing display of pink and white almond blossoms, creating a picturesque and it’s a haven for nature lovers and photographers alike. The variety of flora is impressive, and the recent addition of lavender trees adds to the garden’s charm. The well-maintained pathways and the backdrop of the historic Hari Parbat Fort enhance the overall experience. During my visit, the garden was bustling with both locals and tourists, all eager to witness the almond blossoms in full bloom. Despite the crowd, the atmosphere remained peaceful and enjoyable. Best Time to Visit: Mid-March to mid-April, when the almond trees are in full bloom. Tip: Arrive early in the morning to enjoy the tranquility and capture the best photographs. A must-visit spot in Srinagar for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Kashmir’s springtime.

Badam Wari Park is pure magic during the almond blossom season. Located near Hari Parbat, this park bursts into shades of pink and white every spring, creating a dreamy, postcard-perfect view. The fresh fragrance, well-maintained lawns, and peaceful atmosphere make it a favorite for morning walks, picnics, and photography. Even outside blossom season, it’s a great place to relax, enjoy the greenery, and take in views of the Zabarwan mountains. The park is spacious, clean, and family-friendly.

Badamwari Garden in Srinagar is a magical spot, especially in early spring when the almond blossoms bloom. The sight of pink and white flowers covering the trees is breathtaking, making it feel like a fairytale. It’s a peaceful place for a walk, a picnic, or just to relax and enjoy nature. However, it can get crowded during peak bloom, and facilities like restrooms and food stalls are limited. Still, it’s totally worth a visit for the beauty and calm it offers.

A peaceful escape in Srinagar, especially during spring when the almond blossoms are in full bloom. The park is clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a quiet walk or some reflection time. Ideal for nature lovers, and a great spot to catch the almond blossoms if you’re lucky with timing. A hidden gem. We could spot some sparsed blossoms though..
