    It’s famous for its hundreds of majestic chinar trees, especially beautiful during autumn when the entire garden turns golden-red. It’s also the oldest Mughal garden in Kashmir — planted by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century.

    The place is calm and tranquil. I have spent the 5 most wonderful years of my life here. However, it is sad to see more and more concrete creeping up.
