7 months agoHarwan is such a peaceful and beautiful spot in Srinagar, away from the usual tourist crowds. The lush greenery, tall chinar trees, and the backdrop of the mountains make it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The garden is well-maintained and ideal for a picnic or just a calm walk with family. I visited during spring, and the blooming flowers added so much color and charm to the surroundings. If you're looking for a quiet escape in Kashmir, Harwan is definitely worth a visit.

8 months agoThe last mughal gardens situated at the altitude in the lap of Zabarwan Mountain range ..around 16 kms from Tourist Reception centre Srinagar one could travel alongside the Dal lake ,taking Boulevard Road all the way up to the garden. Although The garden is small in comparison to other Mughal Gardens like Nishat & Shalimar the look and feel of Harwan Garden is nevertheless serene and refreshing. A small artificial lake acting as a water reservoir is located atop the staircase which seems to touch the heavens.......A bultin kids area with slides is available inside the garden. One has to buy tickets at the counters outside the gate. Like most of the other public places an array of shops are available for recreation and refreshments.
