5 months agoHonest Review: Style Over Substance The hotel is located in a visually stunning spot—perched at a slight altitude, it gives you that "wow" moment at first glance. But don’t let the outer beauty fool you. The place is hollow from the inside and reeks of poor maintenance. The room I got was spacious, sure. But that’s about where the good part ends. The bathroom was a disaster—dirty, ill-maintained, and worst of all, the flush didn’t work Room service? Utterly useless. I had to ask five to six times just for a water bottle. It finally arrived like it was a favour, not a basic courtesy. blood stains on the curtains. No joke. Whether it’s from some shady intimacy scene or just plain negligence, I don’t care. It’s unacceptable. Hygiene isn’t optional, it’s a bare minimum. Plates were lying around in the open areas like no one gives a damn. This hotel screams “neglect” in every corner.

5 months agoA peaceful and beautiful place to stay in Katra. It is located right next to Narayana Hospital, and you enter through the hospital’s main gate. Many attendants of patients stay here, but people who visit Vaishno Devi also choose this resort for a calm and relaxing stay. If you are looking for peace and want to spend some time in nature, this is one of the best places. The area is very quiet and green. One of the best things about the resort is the view of the Trikuta Hills at night—it’s truly beautiful and peaceful. The rooms are big, clean, and have all the basic facilities. They are not super luxurious, but very clean, modern, comfortable, and give good value for money. In winter, the sunlight enters the rooms and makes the place feel warm and cozy. It’s perfect for resting and enjoying quiet time. The food is average (vegetarian) but freshly made. You can choose to eat in your room, outside, or in the dining hall. The staff is kind, helpful, and quick in their service. They make sure you feel comfortable and well taken care of. The resort accepts only cash for room payments, so make sure to carry enough with you. They rarely accept online payments for food, so it’s best to keep cash handy during your stay. There is plenty of parking available, which is a big plus. Overall, the resort is a great place to stay if you want peace, good food, and a relaxing environment close to nature.

5 months agoEverything about this place is commendable; however, it is rather peculiar that they do not accept online payments and insist upon cash transactions only. Nonetheless, it remains a fine establishment — and do keep the change with you.

3 months agoSuites are very Spacious & Good. But the worst thing is that it's not properly managed. Food - BAD, Hospitality - POOR. The housekeeping guy is one man army at night. Restaurant is not 24/7. It's supposed to open at 7 am but the restaurant staff only arrives at 7:30 am, thus don't even expect even tea before 7:45. The hotel claims to provide pickup & drop, which will be in a Non-AC Van, that too at The juncture of collapsing (haven't seen cabs in such pathetic condition anytime earlier, with no doors). And last the Hotel is quite far from Katra city in a deserted area, thus you will be taking the mercy of the Hotel & such Risky cabs.
