Katra Marriott Resort & Spa

An excellent property at a wonderful location. The ambience is great. However the catering needs a lot of improvement. The buffet is not as expected and doesn't match it's competiters. If this improves then it will be the place in Katra for a stay.

Restaurant: a) The Restaurant is under staffed and the one's available are untrained or are novice and are not briefed by the F&B manager. If the restaurant has even 50% occupancy the waiters are seen running around everywhere, and no tables are allotted to the waiters. b) The menu of the restaurant is quite elaborate but the number of items available are very limited. So if asked for a particular item it is mostly not available, including seasonal fruits and vegetables. The quality of the food has also deteriorated over the period of time , and when the cooks are informed about the same, their attitude shows that they don't care about it. Gym: The hotel has an excellent Gym, but the same is not being maintained. Many a times the floor is not cleaned. Daily one has to call the reception ask for hand towels and water bottles to be replenished. This kind of attitude towards the guests is only spoiling the brand .

Had an amazing stay at Katra Marriott last evening ….The hospitality was outstanding, and a special thanks to Shyam Ji for being such a wonderful host. The property itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers a perfect blend of comfort and elegance.. the rooms were super comfortable and the food was absolutely amazing 🤩. Truly a memorable experience – highly recommended!

Worst place worst management and worst quality. They didnt refund my amount. I have called them thousands of times and everytime they just give me harsh and sharp excuses. Their sales head person is ridiculous. At the time of booking they talk like honey but at the cancellation they were like who are you. Please please please dont book this property at any cost. They block your money and you just cant do anything.

I booked this property and never imagined that i will get this great experience of stay and food service. I enjoyed a lot here and my daughters enjoyed a lot here. Food was awesome and service was extra ordinary. Specifically Abhishek, he is a great guy and made our trip great with awesome service of food. And would like to mention the Chef Nitin as well. We asked some food for our daughters and they customized it according to their taste. They always asked us if we need anything if we need to pack for our trip or for our daughters. We had to leave early morning for vaishno devi ji mandir and they packed some food for us in the early morning so that we will eat something before we leave. I would really recommend this property for family or solo or anyone who is travelling to Katra.
