Banquet D "Complete Disaster" Venture - A 5 "🖐" Review I rarely post public reviews, but the sheer incompetence, unaccountability, and lack of professionalism shown by Mr. Tahir and his team during our recent event forces me to warn others. If you're considering him as your event organizer do read this first. 1. The Cheap Setup and Unprofessionalism We hired Banquet to set up a pandal for about 80 tramis (35 M-40 W). He recommended a carpet size claiming it would be sufficient. I trusted his "expertise," as I'm not an event planner. But on the event day, the pandal was completely full with about 29 tramis. Clearly visible in the photo. When confronted, he had the audacity to say everything was top notch, and on showing photos he denies and says there was space. Yeah, if I wanted to pile people on top of each other like sheep. 2. I paid "Mooh Maangi Keemat" to ensure everything ran smoothly and no guest had to help or struggle. Instead, While He and his team sat and ate next to the groom himself, 2 out of 4 Mist fans were dysfunctional, coolers in the waiting tent were dry, and the groom (and later the bride) was sweating on the stage because no arrangements were made for the prime spot. Forget about the people sitting in the center because if it was it would mean 1 fan takes away 1 trami space and in a slip of tongue he admitted that the tent was for 30 - 35 trami. Moreover, about the waiting tent it was barely had space for 25 tramis. Moreover, when waza argued the space was too small as highlighted in the pic, he added more space but by charging extra, as if he wasn't getting humongous amount already and if it wasn't a fault on his part . 3. Shocking Behavior & Zero Accountability He kept brushing off every concern and never once owned up to any fault. Specially when his pandal was being set up, several people told him it looked too small. But Banquet D Govt Hospital Ward Venture had to look like one. Torn curtains with visible holes. "Said We'll fix it." They didn't. The prime sofa with dirt, the entrance barely any carpeting and dirty (because dogs took it away. really? :D). When told about the broken fans: "Someone broke them. Can't fix at this time." 4. Entitlement and Ego In the end, when confronted he had the nerve to say: "Usually people give me gifts after events you didn't give anything." This part truly stunned me. Instead of being apologetic he implied that he did everything out of his "kindness" because no one from our family assisted him. Let's be very clear. You were paid 3x the market rate for exactly this reason to manage it all professionally, without relying on anyone else. He even bragged "I usually do events at Chaaya's place and doing this was a mistake". Let's be honest The level of work you delivered would be perfect for a local tea stall launch, forget a businessman's estate. 5. Final Words: I fell for his "kasam-e-Khuda" lines. As for the Google reviews, we know what "1 account - 1 review - 5 start" means .And please, don't mistake appearances for integrity. IYKYK. This team lack the basic decency and responsibility to handle events involving people's hard-earned money, emotions, and celebrations. And btw I paid 2.17 Lacs for this disgraceful service for a mere gathering of 80 tramis in the month of May(Not a wedding season). Not showing state of waiting tent cz of ladies.

It added a festive and welcoming touch that our guests truly appreciated. The event manager was exceptionally polite, kind, and professional. He showed a lot of care and attention to detail, making sure everything was running smoothly throughout the event. His calm and helpful presence made a big difference. The serving team that accompanied him was also outstanding — well-mannered, efficient, and very attentive to guests’ needs. They worked seamlessly together and helped create a warm, hospitable environment. We’re really happy with how everything turned out and truly appreciate the hard work and dedication of the entire team. Would definitely recommend them for home events or any special occasion.
