Nigeen Club

Nigeen Club is a government-managed venue located near the peaceful Nigeen Lake in Srinagar. It’s a popular spot for hosting official events, seminars, weddings, and private functions. The club features a well-equipped conference hall, spacious banquet areas, and beautifully maintained lawns perfect for outdoor gatherings. Its scenic setting, combined with good facilities and a calm atmosphere, makes it an excellent choice for both formal and family events.

Picturesque, amazing location and a huge compound. The club was made by the Britishers during the pre-independence era and had unique, antiquated architecture. It was burnt down by nefarious elements during the troubled times in 1989. Henceforth it was rebuilt after a gap of around a decade and stands grand in its unique location. The building though is not anything great but it has well maintained lawns, a huge parking lot and a deck to admire the sunset at Nigeen lake.

Nigeen club is at the banks of the lake nigeen .it is a recreational area including water club,mirraige hall, two public parks and many houseboats and mesmerising view of the beautiful nigeen lake ..it is just adjacent to the main road leading to dargah HazratBal. It has many restaurants and cafes around the road .

Established on the bank of famed and picturesque Nigeen Lake, the very ambience of Nigeen Club is enormously attractive. As an icing on the cake recently upgraded infrastructure and state- of- the- art facilities provide ample amusement and entertainment to the club visitors of not just the valley but outside too.

Not much to do here. Except for watching the sunset. The gym here is a 2/10. The restaurant here is an average place. Mostly used for marriages and meeting. 2 extra stars just for the sunset view.
