6 months agoMahi yoga is the best place to be around Dharamsala, the training is so deeply integrated and so profound that each of your nerve will remember everything you learn from here . The accomodation is super clean and comfortable, teachers are divine, and the yoga space and the other mediations programs are just perfect for a divine holistic experience. It is so centrally located, that you can have best of both worlds - from grounding yourself in spiritual practices taught at the shala to amazing cafés it is sorrounded with and the lovely treks this beautiful mountain has to offer you .. it is a go to place for me now and I’m only grateful to the universe to have found Mahi sir and Kunal located at this magical place preaching their divine learnings. ✨🙏🏻✨

a month agoI had THE best time at a week long Yoga Retreat at Mahi Yoga Centre with Amy & Mahi. A beautiful setting and a whole range of different yoga styles to suit everyone’s needs. They really know their stuff at Mahi Yoga Centre, each teacher brought something new to the table. I felt like I really expanded my yoga abilities while at the retreat in a safe and held way. I even came home to Wales and purchased a yoga sling after taking part in aerial yoga!! I felt part of a family and was really sad when it was time to leave. I would recommend this place - not only for the yoga and group activities, but also the staff are wonderful, kind, welcoming souls! The food was delicious (I need that green smoothie recipe haha!), the view and surrounding area is to die for and I had a magical time exploring the foothills of the Himalayas too. There’s plenty to do in the surrounding areas, but also the quiet and solitude if that’s what you’re craving. There really is something for everyone. I would recommend Mahi Yoga centre to anyone and am actually seriously contemplating doing my Yoga teacher training here in the future! Miss you all and lots of love. Thank you for having me!

a month agoI completed the 200h Yoga teacher training at Mahi yoga, and I want to recommend it with my whole heart. This place that truly feels like home, the teachers and the staff- all are amazing. Everyone is so professional, kind, and will go out of their way just to make your stay and experience the best it can be. Schedule includes multi style yoga classes, interesting lessons on philosophy and anatomy, art of teaching, meditation and much more. I would recommend this place to everyone, from beginners to advanced, for drop-in classes, group retreats or TTC, you have to try Mahi yoga to feel the amazing and addictive energy of this place, at the amazing nature of Bhagsu. I can’t wait to come back❤️

8 months agoI did my 200 hour TTC at Mahi Yoga School and it was a wonderful time! The teacher are very dedicated, knowledgeable and interested in your well being. We had a great group of fellow yogi students and really grew together. The rooms are bright, beds cozy and the view is very nice. In the morning you wake up to the sounds of the birds. Thanks for everything!

9 months agoI just completed the 200h teacher training in March 2025 at Mahi and it was one of the best months of my life! This really felt like an authentic experience, with great teachers that don't teach you just asanas or "fitness yoga", but the whole holistic yogi approach to life. My favorite things were the Art of Teaching classes with Amit, who is so passionate about what he is doing, and you can really feel it in every hour spent together. I felt so inspired by both teachers Kunal and Amit, the yin and the yang, two completely different approaches to teaching that help you find your own personal way. Besides this, the location is insane for how beautiful it is, Bhagsu is such a lovely hippie village and the view from the room balcony is on the whole valley. I could keep describing this course with many many other words, but I think you just need to experience it to know what I am talking about 🫶🏼 I came during low season, and yes it was a bit cold in February, but definitely doable, with maybe 1/2° at night and 7° during the day. The best part of this was the peace and the quietness in the whole area that made me fall in love with this place even more.
