3 weeks agoI stayed at Backpackers Station for two days 18th and 19th Nov 2025 for my academic conference in the Central University of Jammu, and it was a wonderful experience. I contacted the managers, through WhatsApp, Mr. Bhupinder and Mr. Ashish, a day before my arrival—late at night while I was travelling by bus. They guided me so politely and clearly about where to get down and how to reach the hostel. I reached in the morning. You simply have to get down at Bari Brahmana Chowk, walk towards Metro Pillar No. 105, and the hostel is right opposite, on the main road. The place is clean, calm, comfortable, and very affordable. I got hot water, a clean bed, and a warm blanket. The hosts were extremely kind—they even asked about my schedule to help me plan my stay. Mr. Bhupinder shared the Wi-Fi password even before I asked, which was very thoughtful. Surprisingly, they didn’t even ask me about the room tariff. I told them I would pay at the time of checkout, and they were perfectly fine with that. I highly recommend this place if you ever visit Samba, Jammu. You can easily get buses from nearby to travel anywhere around the region. They offer much more than what they charge, and I truly enjoyed my stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

a month agoGood hostel in budget. Hospitality is nice and the amenities were very good. Only thing is travelling to mainstream Jammu would take more time from this location (though we would find mini buses). Would recommend to everyone who has a vehicle

3 months agoI met the guy who own that place. He's v is very humble. Rooms are clean and bed sheet are clean and if you want something else please call that guy he provide you everything. Unfortunately I cannot take any picture of that rooms. I only think which is I want to say please go there once in your life.
