3 months agoThe Botanical Garden in Srinagar, Kashmir, nestled at the foothills of Zabarwan with Dal Lake on one side, is a peaceful escape into nature. Spread across vast green slopes, it houses a diverse collection of rare plants, ornamental flowers, medicinal herbs, and a wide variety of trees. The best time to visit is during spring and summer, when tulips and other seasonal blooms add vibrant colors to the landscape. Entry fees of Rs 30 per person and Rs 15 for child below 12 yr is there. The garden is equipped with clean restrooms and a small café that serves refreshments, making it convenient for families and tourists to spend a leisurely day here. Located close to other major attractions like Dal Lake and the Mughal Gardens, the Botanical Garden is easily accessible. The well-maintained entrance and clear signages ensure a hassle-free visit. The Botanical Garden in Srinagar is a must-visit for anyone traveling to the region. Its combination of natural beauty, diverse plant life, and serene atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for relaxation and rejuvenation. I have to say they maintained the garden properly, nurtured them with care, you can easily say that by seeing. Inside the garden a beautiful lake is present I'm not sure if boat riding is allowed or not. If you only see greenery everywhere, with beautifully trimmed trees. It was mesmerizing.
