2 years agoI visited the Holy place, around the end of May. My journey of 4(up)+2(down)=6hours was totally worth it. Here are a few suggestions for the people who want to visit it: 1. Carry your winter clothes, if you are wishing to travel during the evening or night time(And believe me it's way more worth it to travel during night). Apart from the darshan of the divine goddesses. You can enjoy the scenery and views of the place. 2. Always carry some cash while going to visit (as using your card is not available in many places and 1-2 places have mini ATM-like features for you to withdraw cash). 3. A lot of pilgrims prefer walking to the top than any other mode of transportation. But if you have a good cash backup, do take the horses or palanquin. As they are available in a good budget and that will help the local people to live properly. May the maa bless the reader.
