Hotel Jagdamba Katra

Hotel was okay but we reached there on 11th aug 2025 and it was heavy rain and they said kitchen is closed due to non availability of staff.... they didn't provide meal and it was difficult to go out due to weather conditions.

I recently stayed at your hotel and would like to express my disappointment with the experience. The reception staff displayed an unprofessional and rude attitude, which made the stay unpleasant. Additionally, there was no pick-up or drop facility available, which was highly inconvenient. I was also surprised to find there was no cash machine (ATM) within the premises, causing further issues. It appears that the hotel staff are running operations for their own benefit rather than in the best interest of the hotel’s reputation or its guests.

Location of the Hotel is Good. Rooms are also quite spacious with Sufficient lighting. Hot water also available. The Lawn alongside the hotel is also perfect for Night walking post Dinner.

I recently stayed at the hotel during my trip to Vaishno Devi, and I wanted to share my positive experience. The location was perfect—just a short 10-minute walk or a 2-minute drive from Katra Railway Station, making it extremely convenient for travelers. The property itself was beautiful, with a lush green park and swings that added a touch of serenity. Having breakfast outdoors in the sun was a refreshing change from the usual buffet experience and truly enhanced our stay. The food was delightful, especially the parathas and chole bhature, which were absolutely delicious. While we booked deluxe rooms and found them satisfactory, we were particularly happy to have a room connected to a spacious balcony in the front (facade area), which provided a lovely view. What truly made our stay exceptional was the hospitality, especially from Abhi Sharma at the restaurant. His warm and welcoming nature, even during busy breakfast and dinner hours, ensured that guests were well taken care of. His willingness to accommodate last-minute requests, including a late-night request for a glass of milk for a baby in our group, speaks volumes about his dedication to guest satisfaction. I firmly believe that while a property’s brand, ambiance, and food are important, it is the service that truly makes a place stand out. Thanks to the outstanding hospitality, I will be recommending this hotel to my friends and will certainly return for another stay in the future.

Well furnished and clean rooms. Food was really nice. Hospitality is great. In room service is also great.
