3 years agoOkay, this chana/nutri kulcha is not for everyone and specially not for people with gastrointestinal ailments. It is for people who want to taste fire. If you have piles/fissure/fistula/GERD/IBS/ulcer it can aggravate your condition and your pantoprazole or diltiazem gel won't help much.π I am giving it an extra star because of fond memories of this place. So I am biased in favour of the guy selling these kulchas. The place is not an eatery but a roadside stall located under a tree on Shalamar Road. It's been years since I had one of these fiery & spicy kulchas but I used to be frequent visitor during school days. The vendor uses cheap masalas and the final product is very spicy but tastes great for some of us. I have not tried it, but eating it after a beer or two could be a divine experience. π Please note that the term 'kulcha' doesn't mean amritsari aaloo kulcha here, but a bun with chana or soya chunks stuffed inside it along with spices, onions & tomatoes.

3 years agoExcess of salt and lemon. Overrated kulcha. May be due to his location.
