4 years agoOne of the best Alpine lakes, it took around 7 hour's trek to reach the beauty but all our tiredness was turned into excitement as the mesmerizing beauty of Chirsar Lake touched our eyes and soul.

a year agoIn the Lap of the Pirpanjal Mountains and the Valley's third highest peak (Bremsakli) there lies a small yet alluring and babbling glacial lake- Chirsar. Chirsar, a concealed gem in the realm of Kashmir, is tucked away at an altitude of 3500m, where the azure sky kisses the verdant earth in a splendid spectacle of blue and white. This alpine lake, cradled by the sublime Brahmasakli peaks, is a fantasy destination for trekkers who crave thrill and allure. The lake is nourished by the thawing ice of the adjacent glaciers, creating a milky blue tint contrasting with the emerald meadows and frosty mountains. Chirsar lies in the core of the Pirpanjal range in the Kulgam district of Kashmir, which harbours many other undiscovered marvels.

3 years agoIn the Lap of the Pirpanjal Mountains and the Valley's third highest peak (Bremsakli) there lies a small yet alluring and babbling glacial lake- Chirsar. It lies in the district Kulgam and the Almighty has endowed this area with richest sources of water and green treasures- forests. You can take up the vehicle up to Hallan, Manzgam. Park your vehicle there and set on foot from there through the school ground. When you face south you will see a dry trail of water through the middle of the forest. Keep the same track, it will take an hour to reach the top. At the top keep left and you will reach the Junction Alasmad and continue the straight trail and you will reach Chiranbal, then Kadalbal. You will find a hut and few local shops at Kadalbal. From Kadalbal, keep left to reach Haakwas. The whole trail will be enjoyed to the greater extents as it's easy, friendly and refreshing at every step. Haakwas is an open ground with lush green velvets spread all over the area. You can set your camp out there but do set your camp near Masjid. After that pass the right hillock and you will see the gushing waters of Chirsar Lake. Keep the trail along the water, towards south and you will reach the mesmerizing Chirsar Lake within an hour or two. The lake is surrounded by Pirpanjal hunks from the southern side and right and left by the up right mountains. I suggest August for the hike. It may take you 3 to 4 hours from Hallan on foot. Caution: Don't litter the poly wastes around the space.

4 years agoThis is awesome but i have also a beautiful picture of BRAHAMSAR LAKE NEAR TO CHIRSAR Brahmsar lake is near to chirsar lake it comes after zadjimarg guys visit also to zadjimarg and banimarg #BRAHASAR_LAKE I walk alone I'm at peace when I'm on my own It can be hard It can be tough Chasing greatness can be lonely road Sometimes i look back and think Look how far I've gone Sometimes i look back and think Look how far I've flown Those who fly alone Have the strongest wings I've got a few scars And if i had to do it again I wouldn't change a thing All the tough times All the cold nights I learned to fight alone It make me strong alone You aren't weak if you cry After the tears dry. They evaporate and you begin to rise I don't need the attention Or the recognition And i still thrive I made a choice to live my life On my terms I can't keep the real me locked inside So i walk alone I'm okay on my own The journey made me strong
