a year agoOne of the most beautiful mosques in india. Madeb up of wood in a distinctive kashmiri architecture design. This is a must visit. Its interiors are lavish with huge chandeliers and exteriors are just breath taking with pure wood design and detailed hand painted walls (just like those paper mashe balls and bells)

4 months agoI visited this place during my Kashmir trip — it’s known as Khanqah-e-Moula, and holds great historical and religious importance. It is believed to be one of the first places from where Islamic teachings began in Kashmir. Non-Muslims (including Hindus) are not allowed to enter the inner area, but you can still admire the beautiful architecture from the outside and learn about its rich history. The design, the peaceful surroundings, and the cultural significance make it a unique experience. I definitely recommend visiting this place if you’re exploring Srinagar — it gives you a deeper understanding of Kashmir’s spiritual and historical roots.
