All staff and doctors are very efficient here at the work but the number of patients compared to the available staffs is too much ..so I am giving 1 star as this as Government Failure. Also this hospital in the one of the biggest hospital in Srinagar, but now it is very crowded , a special from all around Kashmir and Ladakh visit here. Begining from the morning OPD ticket it takes around 1 to 2 hours to get the ticket and after that when a passion visit to his doctor there another 2 to 3 hours of weight is there, over location has to wait 5 hours to reach the doctor tell his medical complaint, this is the reason i I'm relieving it is one star, Since the government is not upgrading the hospital with more of facilities and staffs. OR new SKIMS is needed in Srinagar for timely and Hasle free treatment of patients

One of worst hospital I have ever seen in my life . In cancer institute only pg's come to see the patients . AP' and senior consultant's are sitting in there rooms to make plans for the cancer patients without proper examining the patients and they don't take consent from patients attendent about the plan . . . I lost my mother in this worst hospital due to negligence of senior doctors . Even in opd , doctors hardly diagnosis the cancer patients stage . . . Oncologists in this hospital are practicing on cancer patients. . Pg's don't have even decency of talking to cancer patients. Itz my first hand experience.

S. K. I. M. S Kashmir's number one state medical institute. Provides almost all the medical facilities. It has nearly no fee for O. P. D checkups. Majority of the doctors are specialists. The fee for laboratory tests is also minimal. It has valley's biggest cancer Institute, State Cancer Institute, SCI, which is the biggest achievement of this place. But one thing is there that the staff requirements according to the Institute are not satisfied. Still it's doing a very good job in the entire valley. Their work is really admired. 👍
