a month agoSituated in the deep rolling valleys of the Baderwah region of Jammu, Saz Valley Resort is a popular visiting place and a holiday place for tourists. The property is quite big and planned in a step manner… the rooms are big , though just functional. Do not expect any luxury here , though all amenities to fight the chilly breeze and cold evenings are provided for. The restaurant serves almost all cuisines- from traditional Kashmiri food to Chinese and North Indian. Special kudos to Nitin Kumar who especially came from another branch of the hotel just to serve us. And to the rest of the young staff who took care in best possible manner, in between their preparation for joining the Indian Army, including twice daily runs of 4/5 km each. While you are there do have breakfast in the lawns basking in the warm rays of the sun , while hot paranthas, cool curd and melted butter on toasted breads are served along with hot beverages. And yes, do take time out to play with the cat family- the hotel’s permanent residents ( they have 2 separate rooms for themselves). Just a small note- check the towels before use. Ask for a change if required… it will be done immediately.

a month agohad a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The location was convenient, and the breakfast buffet had a great variety. Highly recommend this place — I’ll definitely be back!

5 months agoThe resort offers good rooms with variety of options to choose from depending upon your choices and budget. The restaurant offers amazing variety of Indian, italian, Chinese and local food. There is also an emporium which has beautiful gifting items and souvenirs. There is a nice garden/sit-out. Parking space is a bit less. Overall it's worth it!!!

6 months agoStaying at "The Saz Valley Resort" was such a heartwarming experience. The food was the highlight—absolutely incredible! The owner personally checks in to understand your preferences and cooks with so much love using fresh local ingredients and dairy. The setting is just as magical—green mountains all around, the calming sound of the river, cozy rooms, warm hospitality, and live music in the evenings — it all came together to create a truly magical stay. This place is a hidden gem. Must visit!

5 months agoSo much hype, so much disappointment. Visited this place for lunch, as there were no options in and around bhadarwah. The service is very poor, the restaurant couldn’t get a simple lemon water right, it took them ages to cook frozen gostaba. The bathrooms are dirty and unhygienic. The only good thing over priced rooms.
