a month agoI’m on my third visit to this shop, and it officially holds the title of my comfort food go-to! The Mutton Momos and the accompanying Mutton Soup are absolutely must-try—they are truly a delight and the highlight of the menu. The Noodles here are also great and consistently tasty. However, a helpful hint for first-timers: make sure you specify if you want them spicy or salty, as they tend to be basic and plain by default. It’s worth the simple request to get the flavor profile you want! This place is simply excellent for a reliable, warm meal. Must try there chicken thupka and wai wai laphing

a month agoTibet Kitchen has always been on my list because I genuinely love Ladakhi and Tibetan cuisine. Naturally, I had high expectations from this place given all the buzz around it. This time, I decided to go for some of their veg items, and honestly, it felt a little average compared to what I had imagined. I ordered the Veg Thukpa, Paneer Thukpa, Veg Laphing, and Veg Momos 🍜🥟. The Laphing was quite basic in taste, not bad, but not memorable either. The momos, though, were pretty good well-steamed and flavourful. What didn’t sit too well with me was the Thukpa, the oil content felt a bit too much, especially in the paneer one, which made it heavier than expected. Despite that, I don’t feel disappointed something about this café still pulls me in, maybe it's the vibe, or maybe it's the feeling that the non-veg menu might just surprise me. So yes, I’m definitely planning to visit again but this time, I’ll be trying their non-veg dishes for sure 🍗✨. Now coming to the ambience, it genuinely gives off proper Tibetan vibes from the decor to the atmosphere, it feels like a little escape into Tibet. The staff was polite and welcoming, which added a nice touch to the overall experience 💫

5 months agoI really wanted to love this place but unfortunately like most of the sub standard below average things Jammu has to offer, this is sadly one of them. When you ask your guests to wait for 20 minutes for their order, you are suppose to bring everything at once. And not make them wait for another 20 minutes for a cup of chai. The prices and portion sizes are decent. The taste is absolutely average. For something claiming to be from ladakh, the momo skin is way too thick and the north eastern community living and serving in Delhi does a better job. After 10 minutes of our placing order we are told that chicken momos are unavailable which means the staff isn’t aware of their stock and how to go about managing. Never trusting a Food Pandit review ever again. When I entered the place I expected it to be something like a Majnu Ka tila of Delhi experience but It was far away from it. The veg momos were served to the wrong table and came to us after so late once they were cold. The palak cheese momos were still decent. Also, what’s with the ugly white lights? Please make them warm, atleast they will trick us into believing that the place is cosy and ladakhi. The butter tea was priced decent and good. Thukpa was regular, nothing out of this world. There’s a guy in Noida that makes better Thukpa. And he ain’t even Ladakhi. Also there is Shapta on the menu but no pork shapta. Do you realise shapta is a pork based dish? Could be a decent hang out place for college people who look for pocket friendly breakfast and snack items. Nothing else. I hope this place does better in terms of quality.
