in the last weekHad a quick stop at this place due to hype created by locals. Rajma Chawal & Dal were just Ok with overload of Ghee. Flavour of Ghee was overpowering the other ingredients of food which i feel was making entirely package below average. The kheer was outstanding. First time i had a Kheer which i felt was mix of Rabri, Milk Badam & Kher. If i ever return it will be for only Kheer else never again.

a year agoZamindara Dhaba in Bari Brahmana, Jammu, is a popular vegetarian dhaba known for its authentic North Indian flavors, particularly the rajma chawal and dal makhani, often served with a generous layer of desi ghee. Its location on NH-44 makes it convenient for travelers. Visitors appreciate the tasty food, polite staff, and ample parking space, though some reviews note cleanliness issues and limited seating comfort. Overall, it’s a good stop for traditional Punjabi cuisine at reasonable prices . Must try Dal Makhni with Laccha Parantha

7 months agoExtremely disappointing experience at Zamidara Restaurant near Vijayapur. This restaurant has gone completely downhill. The service is terrible, and the overall environment is nothing like what it used to be. There’s no trace left of the old charm—it’s just running on the reputation of its past, and that too forcefully. There's absolutely nothing special about it anymore. In terms of hygiene, it’s a disaster. There were flies everywhere—literally everywhere. The bathroom was especially horrible, swarming with flies. If the main sitting area is this unhygienic, just imagine what the kitchen must be like. It’s honestly enough to make you sick. Please avoid Zamidara Dhaba. You're not only wasting your money, but you’re also risking your health. It’s no longer worth visiting at all.
